Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of gsdaz.com and any services booked through it or directly with GSD Assembly & Install ("GSD," "we," "us"). By booking a service or using this Site, you agree to these Terms.

2. Description of Services

GSD provides furniture assembly, TV and fixture mounting, minor home installation, and related handyman-exempt services in Gilbert, Arizona and the surrounding area. We do not perform work that requires a licensed contractor.

3. Estimates & Pricing

Prices shown on the Site and at booking are estimates based on the information you provide. Final pricing may change if the scope of work differs once we're on-site — for example, more complex mounting hardware, additional items, or unexpected conditions. We'll walk you through any price changes before performing extra work beyond what you booked.

Jobs remain subject to the $1,000 handyman-exemption threshold described above. If a job's true scope would exceed that threshold, we may need to split it into separate visits or decline the portion that requires a licensed contractor.

4. Booking, Rush, and Visit Fees

• Appointments booked within 24 hours of the visit may carry a rush fee, shown at checkout before you confirm.
• Custom-quote requests (jobs not covered by our standard service list) carry a visit fee, credited toward any service you book during that visit.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling Confirm

You may reschedule or cancel at no charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations or reschedule requests made with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged a trip fee of up to $49 to cover the reserved appointment slot. We'll always try to work with you on short-notice changes when we can.

6. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept the payment methods listed at checkout. Online payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; GSD does not store full payment card numbers.

7. Customer Responsibilities

• Provide safe, clear access to the work area and any items to be assembled or mounted.
• Accurately describe the job and any known site conditions (wall type, existing wiring, etc.) when booking.
• Supply your own hardware/materials, or select the "purchase from GSD" option where offered.
• Ensure someone 18 or older is present, or has authorized the work, for the duration of the appointment.

8. Workmanship Guarantee Confirm

GSD guarantees its labor for 30 days from the date of service against faulty workmanship. If something we installed fails due to how it was installed, contact us and we'll return to fix it at no additional labor charge. This guarantee does not cover manufacturer defects in materials (whether customer-supplied or GSD-supplied), damage from misuse, or issues caused by the condition of your home (e.g., deteriorated drywall, aging wiring). Materials remain subject to their manufacturer's own warranty, if any.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Arizona law, GSD's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. GSD is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Arizona law.

10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page, with the "Effective Date" above updated accordingly. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
